STOP

When your heart feels pain on a regular and constant basis, what do you think this is telling you?

When you feel pain in any part of your body, be mindful that this is telling you something more than you may want to face or realise.

How often do you get the chance to speak to that inner space within you to get answers?

How often do you feel lost, lonely, as if the world has turned its back on you?

Taking a minute of your time to delve within, to seek that space and place inside of you which holds the secrets to all you need is just a breath away.

If you can, for at least five minutes today, just stop what you are doing and look around you.  Breathe deeply into your heart and soul and ask yourself this question: Who Am I?  and then wait and see what this throws up at you?

You probably won't even know or even re-member who you are.

Therefore, within silence, you will find that pulse to your own heartbeat which tells you who you are.  But you must gift yourself permission to be still, to exhale, to inhale something new.  Remember also to be gentle with yourself.  NO judgment in terms of where you are or who you show up to be.  You can always change if you choose to.

Try this this week and see what shows up for you

Today I took time out

The next time you feel slightly anxious about life, take a step back for one brief moment.  Today I had to do that.  I have been feeling incredibly tired over the past two weeks, which have been very intense.  At the back of my mind I know I should be taking time out, yet I still to some degree felt myself pushing beyond that feeling of lethargy and mental tiredness.  Then yesterday when I was giving a reading to someone, she quietly said "Esther you need to take some time out, even if it is ten minutes."

Many times when we choose not to listen to our bodies which give us signs about what we need to do, the Universe then puts people or situations in our way to give us a wake up call.

Up until yesterday I had been sleeping in more and today I slept in until 11am.  I then went for a two hour sauna and then sat in an open field and lay on the grass, closed my eyes and let my mind wander.  It was such a relaxing experience and it left me feeling so much more grounded and, yes, ready for another nap.

Within that space of lying in the field, my mind was able to sift through some things, to enable me to get more clarity about what I needed to do when I got back on track and also to meditate.

Then this evening, I was due to do some telephone work, but I was still too mentally tired.  A friend came around and we took the dog for a walk in the park.  After a while we just sat, watching the sunset and spoke about life and stuff.  It was amazing being in a place so still and watching the world at a distance slow down and the lights blazing from Canary Wharf.  Within the peace and stillness of the park, and being privileged to watch the sky change colors and to sit with nature further enhanced the peace within me.

So once again, I urge you to take time out, not always easy, but we have to learn to create that time and space to put life down, to re-energize and to relax into a space that holds us, comforts and where we can exhale into.

Much love and blessings to you all
